If the equipment presents problems or malfunctions do not try to fix it on your own, report it immediately (verbally and by mail) to a staff member.

1. Immediately stop what you are doing, and if necessary disconnect the equipment from the power supply.
2. Contact a staff member to report the problem.
3. Write an email describing the steps that caused the problem and send it to the staff member(s) who assisted during the mishap. Note: the purpose of this email is to serve as a log for the lab.
